Former World under 20 800m champion Kipyegon Bett has been suspended from all athletics Competitions across the world.
On Thursday, Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) through their official Twitter handle @AIU_athletics announced that the 2015 World Youth championships 800m silver medallist had been suspended for failing or refusing to submit sample collection.
AIU_Athletics issues a notice of charge against Kipyegon Bett for refusing or failing to submit to sample collection. Article 2.3 of the #antidoping Rules. The #Kenyan middle distance is provisionally suspended from all Competitions, read the statement.
The 2017 world championships bronze medallist comes just weeks after Lucy Kabuu, Asbel Kiprop and Boniface Mweresa.
