World Athletics has finally ratified the world records for Kenyans Faith Kipyegon, Beatrice Chebet and Agnes Jebet Ngetich.
Today, the WA announced that Kipyegon’s 1,500m, Chebet’s 5km and Ngetich’s 10,000m have been ratified and can be recognized across the world.
Chebet won the 5km road race in 14:13 after lowering Senberu Teferi’s record chopping off 16 second
Jebet set the 10km road race title shaking off 28 seconds from Yalemzerf Yahualaw while Kipyegon broke her time record after clocking 3:49.04 over 1500m taking 0.07 seconds.
