Fresh from setting world records at the Eugene Diamond League, the Prefontaine Classic in the USA, Beatrice Chebet and Faith Kipyegon will lead Kenya at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan come September.
The duo will be up flying the Kenya flag alongside Agnes Chebet Ngetich and Margaret Akidor in Tokyo.
The federation was using the Prefontaine to select the 5,000m team.
