Premier league teams dominated today’s first round of FKF Women Cup played in various venues across the country.
In zone B, Kisumu All Starlets edged out their fellow premier league side Trans Nzoia Falcons to seal the quarterfinals on post match penalties. The two rivals played out to a 2-all draw before hosts won 5-4.
It was bad day for Oserian Ladies, the premier league side that lost to Division One side Bunyore Starlets. Oserian failed to dominate at home and after a barren draw, Starlets won 4-5 to proceed into the quarterfinals.
In Zone A, Ulinzi Starlets advanced to the quarterfinals after thrashing Division One side Sunderland Samba 5-0 while humiliated Kayole Starlets 5-1 in the premier league encounters.
