Shujaa, the national rugby men’s team remained unbeaten in the second leg of Madrid sevens Invitational tournament today.
The Innocent Simiyu led side won all their three matches to remain unbeaten ahead of tomorrow’s final matches.
In their last game against hosts Spain, Shujaa’s Daniel Taabu scored a converted try in the last minute to seal a 19-17 win as they were struggling.
With Kenya beating the USA and 29-12 and 12-26 against Portugal, Kenya was on the verge of losing the match to Spain but the last try by Taabu saved Kenya the blushes.
In the two meetings that started last week, Kenya has only lost to Argentina during the final and final round robin play.
