Howard Okwemba will remain as Kisumu RFC head coach ahead of the new Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) season as they unveil a sponsorship deal of Kshs 2m from Homeland Itoya Events.
After making changes with the technical bench, with new office in place, the newly elected club secretary Robert Wachesi said that Okwemba remains the coach who will work with Fabian Orlando as assistant coach.
The club is also set to participate in the upcoming Bungoma 7s tournament, using it as a platform to assess player progress and test combinations ahead of the upcoming national seven circuit.
