Kenya Lacrosse team received baptism of fire in the opening match of the Under 19 Women Lacrosse World Championships in Toronto, Canada.
Making their debut at the championships, Kenya was humiliated by Korea 16-09 in the pool C match that consists of Germany, Jamaica and Kenya.
Kenya became the first African country to compete at the championships under the tutelage of Storm Trentham, the former United Kingdom head coach.
The sport that was introduced in Kenya 2009 features school-going girls who will be flying Kenyan flag.
