Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has appointed Nairobi City Stars as the acting Chief Executive Officer following the resignation of Barry Otieno.
Korir will replace Otieno on the acting capacity after resigning yesterday after serving for five years when he replaced Robert Muthomi in 2019.
In a statement from the federation, read in part: “FKF has swiftly appointed Patrick Korir as the interim CEO effective immediately. Patrick brings a wealth of experience in Kenyan football having served as a journalist, football coordinator, and CEO at Nairobi City Stars.His in-depth understanding of the sport, combined with his management expertise ensures he will integrate into the new role without disruption of FKF’s operations.”
