World Marathon record holder Brigid Kosgei defended her London marathon title ran today.
The Chicago marathon winner failed to lead a 1-2 podium finish with American Sara Hall finishing second position as world marathon champion Ruth Chepngetich was in third position as former champion Vivian Cheruiyot failed to finish.
She clocked 2:18.58 for the title failing to beat her world record she set last year at Chicago marathon.
