Koyonzo and Madira retain Western Region schools rugby 7s title

Despite finishing third at the county championships, rejuvenated Koyonzo was crowned the champions of Western region Seconadry Schools Sports Association rugby 7s after beating their rivals Vihiga Boys at the finals.

In girls’ Vihiga County’s madira Girls were crowned the champiuons after beating Mbakalo 15-05 for the title.

In boys’, at the postponed finals, the kakamega County school won 24-07 in a final for the title in a repeat of last year’s final,  Koyonzo after beating Vihiga 12-00.
