KPA win as Equity fault in Africa Men volleyball Club championships

Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) registered victory while Equity Bank started on a low note losing their opening match as Africa Volleyball Clubs championships served off today in Kelibia, Tunisia.

Kenya’s KPA defeated Ethiopian Madda University in a five setter encounter in 25-21, 21-25, 28-26, 21-25 and 15-13 to keep the ball flying in pool C.

Other teams in pool C include Injis, who will be the next KPA opponents.

In pool D, another Kenyan Representative Equity, who are making their championships debut lost in straight sets of 25-21, 25-12 and 25-19 against Nigeria’s Customs.   

Tomorrow, the bankers will play Gisagara from Rwanda where the later beat Cameroonian side Port Douala from Cameroon 3-1 (25-18, 2025-, 25-21,31-29).
