KPA win, GSU lose as Africa men’s volleyball serves off

Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) registered their maiden win while General Service Unit (GSU) stumbled as men’s African Clubs Championship served off yesterday in Tunis, Tunisia.

Making their maiden appearance at the championships, KPA came from a set down to defeat Rwandese Armee Patriotique Rwandaise  3-2(24-26,25-23,21-25,25-23 and 15-12) in pool A.

But it was a bad start for national champions GSU ) to Zamalek in a straight sets of 25-17,25-15, 25-23 in pool D.

KPA will today take on four-time champions Esperance of Tunisia while GSU tackle Nigeria Customs.
