Former Prime Minister Raila Odinda, Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed and National Assembly chair of sports Patrick Makau have led Kenyans in congratulating world marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge for winning the NN Mission Marathon held today in Enschede, Twente Airport, the Netherlands.
Kipchoe, who is set to defend his Olympic marathon title won the title in 2:04.30 ahead of training mate Jonathan Korir.

Wrote: “What a great performance and flawless display of matery coupled with dominance. Congratulations @Eliudkipchoge on winning the #Missionmarathon. Kudos Jonatahn Korir for 2nd place. Keep flying the Kenyan flag high as we head to the Olympics. Hongera.”
Amina said: “Congratulations @eliudKipchoge, Jonathan Korir, Mathew Sang and all Kenyans participating athletes for great performance at the #NNmissionmarathon2021. The goernent will continue to support Team kenya’s @tokyo2020 preparations.
Makau addressed the athletes saying: “Congratulations @eliudkipchoge for excellent performance at the NN Mission marathon., No human is Limited, Kenya is Proud of you.
