Former Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) league champions Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) progressed at the ongoing Africa Women volleyball club championships in Cairo, Egypt.
The reigning championships bronze medalist, for the second time whipped Egypt side Shooters to progress into the semifinal of the tournament in a thrilling four-setter encounter.
The Kenyan side won the opening set 25-19 before Shooters overstretched the second set winning in 25-25 but ever-fighting Pipeline won the third set with ease in 25-12 and fourth in 25-20.
KPC will be waitning to know their opponents in the match between Al Ahly vs Shams.
KPC 3-1 Shooters of 25-19, 25-27, 25-12 and 25-20.
