Kenya Universities Sports Association (KUSA) sevens will kick off next month according to the draw released.
Jomo Kenyatta University (KU) side Blak Blad won the overall title held at The Naiorbi University Ground.
University and college rugby sides are set to take part in a five-legs circuit running from May 18 to July 7.
The first leg will be held at Meru University on 18th May with UoN set to host the final leg between 6 and 7 July, 2019.
Pawn University, Kibabii University and Moi University are set to host second, third and fourth legs respectively.
Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad are the KUSA 7s defending champions. In 2018 they won Mombasa, Kaimosi and UoN legs to take the overall title with 98 points after five legs.
Blad expect to face competition from Mean Machine, Strathmore, MMUST, Multimedia University, Karatina, Pwani University, KCA, Farus Rugby, Zetech Oaks,
KUSA 7s provide an opportunity for University students to not only fine-tune their sevens skills but also prepare for Kenya Rugby national sevens circuit that kicks-off in July.
