Kwaka to chair KBF management board

Thomas Kwaka has been appointed by the Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) to manage national basketball teams.

The management board comes in as Morans, the Kenya men’s basketball team is training at Nyayo Stadium ahead of Afrobasket qualifiers set for Kigali from November 26.

Kwaka will lead a 10-member board was unveiled today by KBF chairman Paul Otula and will operate independently.

He will lead Kenya Ports Authority head of administration Bildad Kisero, Florence Sumbeiyo of Kenya Pipeline, Morris Alwanga of Machakos County Government, Eugene Ganga of Kenyatta National Hospital, Riziki Mayienga of Stanbic Bank, Cecafa secretary general Auka Gacheo, Willis Angira, Martha Githui Bett and Ceaser Handa while Ben Wanjara and George Mboya will coordinate the diaspora.
