Former champions KCB will be facing off with struggling Mwamba RFC when Kenya Cup, the top tier rugby 15s league, resumes tomorrow after Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The 2pm encounter at the RFUEA grounds will highlight the week four fixtures at the weekend’s show after Mwamba, who have had a bad start in the league.
Mwamba has so far signed players like Steve Sikuta, Dan Suchi, and Xavier Kipngetich, Ishmael Mokaya, Joseph Otieno, Joseph Rume, Mark Gitonga, Washington Ogido, Willis Owino, Collins Onyango and Benedict Matheka.
At the same venue, Kenya Harlequins will be hosting Impala Saracens in a Ngong Road derby two hours later with newbies and Mombasa based South Coast Pirates traveling to Kisumu to face Kisumu RFC in the promoted sides encounter.
Strathmore University side, the Leos will host defending champions Kabras Sugar with Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad taking on Nondescripts.
Nakuru derby will feature Nakuru RFC taking on Menengai Oilers at the Nakuru Athletic Club.
