Former Kenya Premier league (KPL) champions AFC Leopards played to a one all draw in the friendly match against demoted side Wazito at Camp Toyoyo ground today.
New Leopards coach Nikola Kavazovic fielded newly acquired players like Zimbabwean striker Michelle Katsvairo and Rwandese international goalkeeper Eric Ndayishimiye as he hopes to register good results in the KPL season that kicks off next month.
Katsvairo scored an equalizer in the match against Wazito, the team that was relegated from the KPL last season, after taying on the top flight football in the country for one season.
His 90th minute goal cancelled out Stephen Owusu’s goal that he netted in the 30th minute after he was transferred from Nairobi Stima.
This was Wazito’s second build up match after going down 1-0 to champions Gor Mahia on Tuesday at the same venue.
