AFC Leopards, Sofapaka and Kenya Police recorded victories in today’s Kenya Premier league matches played across the country.
At the Machakos stadium, leaders Kenya Police maintained their position with a 2-0 victory over Bidco United 2-0.
New signing Mohammed Bajaber opened the score in the 69th minute before David Simiyu scored the winning goal in the 71st minute.
Following their victory, Kenya Police has gained 41 points, topping the table, leading second placed Tusker with three points ahead of their tie against champions Gor Mahia tomorrow.
At Awendo stadium, leopards beat Mara Sugar 1-2 in a cold weather encounter
Peter Maker scored first for Leopards as Noah Jagongo leveled for Mara before Maxwell Otieno converted from the spot to earn maximum points.
Back at Machakos, ten man Sofapaka were 2-0 winners over KCB
with Jack Onganya breaking the deadlock in the 36th minute before Edward Omondi securing the victory in the 72nd minute.
