Strathmore University side Strathmore Leos edged out Catholic Monks in the university derby to win the Embu rugby 7s title played today in Embu.
Leos recorded a 19-05 victory against Monks ahead of the Kenya Rugby Union 7s circuit and the victory means that Leos have won the title twice in a row.
In the quarters, Leos managed a 36-0 win over Administration Police. Rugby on the Road whipped Mean Machine 40-10 as Stallions beat Northern Suburbs 12-7.
Catholic Monks had a 26-12 win over Embu Dragons in the final quarterfinal match
