Africa 800m silver medalist Lilian Odira won the 800m gold on the final day of World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
Odira edged out defending champion and Olympic 800m champion Mary Moraa as well as reigning world under 20 800m champion sarah moraa to win the two lap race in 1:54.62, that was the championships record.
She was followed by Great Briton Georgia Hunter Bell in 1:54.90 and compatriot Keely Hodgkinson (1:54.91) for silver and bronze.
Sarah managed 4th position at 1:55.74 and Mary came 7th at 1:57.10
