Deaf golfer Isaac Makokha will be hoping to defend his Kenya Amateur Match Play Championship, the Kenya Amatutur Golf Championships (KAGC) series that tees off on Friday on par 71 Muthaiga golf club.
Coming from Vet lab, Makokha, defeated Jay Sandhu 3-2 in the 36-hole final at the Royal Club Nairobi to win the ticket for 2021 Kenya Open championships will be facing off with other golfers in search of 2022 Kenya Open ticket.
The winner will automatically qualify for the Kenya Open that will be staged at the Karen club.
The two rounds final will take place on Sunday with the winner earning a place in the 2022 Magical Kenya Open.
Among those who were listed to play is defending champion Isaac Makokha of Vet Lab, Limuru’s Paul Muchangi, Kiambu’s Michael Karanga and Tanzania’s Victor Joseph.
