As defending champions, Malkia Strikers teams that played in the same pool as the Africa Nations Championships in Egypt last month where Kenya lost to champions Cameroon for the second time.
The women’s Pool ‘A’ has Morocco, Botswana, Mauritius and Nigeria.
In men’s draw hosts Morocco were grouped with Nigeria, Mauritius and Botswana in Pool ‘A’ while Algeria line up against Egypt, Cape Verde and Cameroon in Pool ‘B’.
The drawing of lots for volleyball competition was done on Monday in Morocco in the presence of CAVB representative Okba Gougam and Morocco Volleyball Federation president Bouchra Hajij
