Kenyan women volleyball team Malkia Strikers came from a set behind to edge out stubborn Egypt in the Africa Tokyo Olympics qualifier opening match in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The Paul Bitok led team lost the opening set 23-25 but recovered to win 3-1 in (23-25, 25-15, 25-21, 25-22).
The match was the repeat of 2016 Rio qualifiers semi-finals that Egypt won 3-2 as they prepare to play Botswana in the second match on Monday.
