Kenya Volleybal queens Malkia Strikers ended their pool B matches without dropping a single set in the ongoing Volleyball Africa Nations Championships in Palais Des Sports Indoor Arena.
The Yaounde, Cameroon action saw Kenya top the pool undefeated as they beat Tunisia today 3-0 (25-17, 25-21 and 25-16) as they prepare to meet the second placed team in pool A.
The Japheth Munala led charges will be using the nine team competition to qualify for FIVB women’s World Championships in Japan in 2018.
In the route to defdnd the title, Malkia Strikers beat Democratic Republic of Congo 3-0 (25-17, 25-15,25-12) yesterday, after winning over Nigeria 3-0 (25-16, 25-8, 25-10) on Sunday and Senegal 3-0 (25-21, 28-26, 25-15) on Saturday.
The top two teams at the end of the competition will qualify for the 2018 FIVB Women’s World Volleyball Championship in Japan.
