Shadrack Maluki and Francis Mutuku have expressed confidence to capture the National Olympics Committee of Kenya (NOC-K) presidential position at the elections set for Thursday June 19th in Nairobi.
Maluki emphasized the urgent need to refocus the NOCK’s mission on serving athletes, federations, and the wider Kenyan public.
Serving as Judo Federation of Kenya President, as well as Africa Judo President, Maluki is backed by Athletics Kenya’s Youth and Development Chairperson Barnabas Korir, who is vying for the first vice president.
Mukuku, who is serving as NOC-K secretary General as well as Tennis Kenya First Deputy President is seeking to succeed the out going President Paul tergat.
He is backed by Outgoing NOCK deputy secretary general Shoiab Vayani is contesting for treasurer, while outgoing deputy treasurer John Ogolla will run for secretary general.
