Mara, Naivas and Kisumu record NSL victories

Mara Sugar, Naivas FC and Kisumu All Starlets recorded victories in the National Super League encounter across the country today.

The sugar millers thrashed Vihiga Bullets 5-0 in one of the higly scoring match at the Awendo stadium with a brace from the new signing Ruben Mita who scored in the 2nd and 35th minute, Yusuf Ochieng in the 16th minute, Philip Nyakwakwa in the 44th minute and  Samuel Otieno sealed the victory in the 62nd minute.

Allstars ulitilzed home advantage to beat visiting Kibera Black Stars 2-1 with Nelson Amunga and Brian Steve scoring for the hosts in the 15th and 65th minute while John Njoroge scored a consolation in between at the 46th minute.

In other matches, Naivas edged out SS Assad with a solitary goal while debutants Dimba Patriots were held to a barren draw by compatriots Luanda Villa with Darajani Gogo recording similar score against Mully children’s Family (MCF).
