Two goals from Julian Alvarez and Lionel Messi were on target when Argentina defeated reigning finalists to qualify into the FIFA World Cup finals in Doha, Qatar.
Messi scored after converting from the spot kick in the 34th minute before Alvarez doubled in the 39th minute for a 2-0 into break. On resumption, Alvarez scored the third goal and his second for a double in the 69th minute for a 3-0 win at the Lusail stadium.
Following the victory, the South American side will wait for their opponent when France and Morocco face each other tomorrow.
