Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) and Strathmore University have dominated the semifinals of the ongoing Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) national ball games play-offs at the University of Eldoret (UoE) grounds.
The two universities has eight teams in the semifinals and one at the finals set for tomorrow as three day extravaganza comes to an end.
In women hockey, Strathmore side Scorpions will face off with MMUST at the finals after edging out Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) at the semifinals while Strathmore men are in the semifinals.
In netball both men and women will fly MMUST flag at the semifinals where MMUST will take on the hosts in the first semifinal before JKUAT taking on Mount Kenya University (MKU) while MMUST men will play against Tharaka University and Maseno take on Kabarak.
MMUST are also in the semifials in volleyball women, handball men and women semifinals and soccer women.
The Kakamega based university only lost a chance in the semis in basketball women. Out of ten disciplines, eight are in semis and one at the finals (hockey women).
