Ndigiti, Kemboi, Makena and Letim shine at Athletics Kenya meet in Mombasa

Walkers Samson Dominic Ndigiti and Sylvia Kemboi romped into victory at the seconmd and last day of of the 4th leg of Athletics Kenya Track and Field championships Mombasa’s Mbaraki stadium.
Ndigiti, who is aiming to represnt the country at the World Athletics championships in Budapest, Hungary won the race as he searches for qualifying time to Budapest, recorded his maiden victory in the walk at the series.
Ndigiti, who is also the world under-18 10,000m bronze medalist, said that he is targeting a slot at team Kenya especially now he has qualified for 10km walk but he is looking for qualification time for 20km.
Kemboi timed 55.09.1 for the title followed closely by Patricah Gichuki clocking 56.46.3 while Naomi Jepkiruri timed 1.02.57 to close the top three.
In 10000m men Meshack Letim emerged victor timed 30.42.6 as Abraham Kimurgor was placed second clocking 35.10.00 while Emmanuel Kiptoo followed crossing the line 37.43.4 to close the top three.
