KUSF president Kibet Rono is optimistic that the championships will showcase top talents in the universities because of what they have gone through.
“These are the top of the top championships in the calendar of universities and we hope that each one who will attend the play-offs will return home a changed person,” said Rono who assumed office November 2023 during elections.
He said that each conference produced two teams in each discipline and with six conference, they have 12 teams in each discipline.
“We selected teams from each conference, meaning we have 12 teams hoping that everybody will enjoy these championships. We hope every student will adhere to discipline and rules, same as coaches to avoid any disciplinary actions,” he said.
