Mombasa remains on NSL top with win over Villa as Talanta, Vihiga draw

Mombasa United defeated Luanda Villa to maintain their top position in the National Super League (NSL) after round three of the second tier league.

The hosts sneaked in a 1-0 win courtesy of Nehemiah Onchiri to record three out of three wins in a match played at the Mbaraki stadium in Mombasa County, beating Villa keeper Joseph Ogenda.

It was a good results for Gilbert Selebwa coached side as they seek promotion into the Kenya Premier league.

This was the only victory in the three matches played today.

In other matches, FC Talanta and 3K FC played to a barren draw just like Vihiga United against Naivas FC in the battle for former Kenya Premier league teams.
