Reigning Commonwealth Games 800m champion Mary Moraa won the Botswana Golden Grand Prix 400m title with a new record.
The world 800m bronze medalist shattered her own 400m record when she won the one lap race today in 50.43 lowering her previous her national record of 50.67.
The former 400m world under 18 silver medalist set her national record during national trials for World Championships and Commonwealth Games in 50.84 in June 25, last year at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
