Mozzartbet to sponsor road races

Gaming firm Mozzartbet is set to organize a marathon in the north rift region as part of their Corperate Social Responsibility in Kenya.

While donating hospital equipment to fight coronavirus at the Iten Referral Hospital, Mozzartbet Marketing manager Frank Okoth Ochieng.

“This is the region well known in athletics especially in the north rift counties of Elgeyo Marakwet, Uasin Gishu and Nandi next month, we are going to support athletes’ especially young athletes who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic,” said Okoth.

The gaming firm, which was unveiled as the official sponsors of Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side Kakamega Homeboyz announced that they are set to support marathon starting from next month in Nandi County.

We need to support our upcoming athletes in various ways but at this time, we are still coming up with proposals that we invite them to work together to support athletes.

The same was applauded by Elgeiyo Marakwet governor Alex Tolgos, who called upon well wishers to come in aids to help out athletes who have been depending on sports saying that it has not been easy for some athletes.

“These athletes have been affected by the pandemic and they were depending heavily on athletics who many of them use their talents to feed their homes which now it thing of past,” said Tolgos.
