Murunga name #London7s and #Paris7s Shuja team

Shujaa, the national sevens head coach Paul Murunga has named three returnees in the team ahead of 2018/2019 HSBC world rugby sevens series that enters its penalutmate stage next weekend.

In a relegation battle (in 13th position) with 26 points, Murunga named Cyprian Kuto, Brian Wandera and Charles Omondi ahead of London7s and Paris7s.

London series takes place on 25th to 26th may at Twickenham stadium before Paris meeting on 1st and 2nd June.

Apart from the three inclusions, Murunga, who took over the mantle this season from Innocent Simiyu, retained most of the players as he battles out in pool B against series leaders Fiji, Samoa and France.

Shujaa will kick their first ball against Fiji at 12:36pm followed by Samoa’s 3:20pm before ending the pool match against France at 6:26pm EAT.

London and Paris sevens Squad

Andrew Amonde, Vincent Omanyala, Bush Mwale, Daniel Sikuta, Charles Omondi, Eden Agero, Daniel Taabu, Jacob Ojee, Cyprian Kuto, Jeffrey Oluoch, Nelson Oyoo, Johnston Olindi and Brian Wandera.
