AFC Leopards will be hosting defending champions Gor Mahia at Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani, dubbed Mashemeji derby that will highlight weekend’s Kenya Premier League (KPL) matches.
Leopards will be facing nearly crowned champions, who only need five points from clinching the title.
The two teams enter their crucial match after both losing on Wednesday fixtures. Leopards and Gor Mahia lost by a solitary goal to Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) and Nzoia Sugar at Machakos and Mumias respectively.
Leopards under Casa Mbungo will be setting a revenge against Gor who lost 2-0 in the reverse fixture.
Leaders Gor mahia with 66 points from 30 matches will seek to extend their wins against leopards who sits in position nine with 39 points.
In other weekend matches, second placed Sofapaka will travel to Bungoma to play Nzoia Sugar as third placed Bandari hosts Zoo Kericho at Mbaraki stadium.
