Kenyan men won all position seven places at the Principality Cardiff half marathon, it was an all Kenyans podium sweep held in the Great Britain on Sunday October 1st.
Vincent Kiprotich Mutai (60:35) won the race in the former colonial Masters’ land followed by Shadrack Kimining (60:48), Bernard Biwott (60:51), Geoffery Koech (61:43) Wesley Kimutai (63:00), David Kimaiyo (63:21), Martin Musyoka (64:06). Another Kenyan Victor Chepkwony was in 10th position in 64:33.
In women, Ethiopians won the first two positions with Mestawut Fikir taking the title at 68:13 followed by Aminet Ahmed (68:14) with Kenyans taking the preceeding three positions.
Viola Kipngeno (68:14) won the bronze positions followed by Beatrice Chepchirchir Cheserek (68:25) and Dorcas Chepchumba Kimeli (70:09).
