Mutai and Onsando to battle for KRU chairman’s post

Sasha Mutai and Joe Onsando will battle it out for the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) chairman’s position at next week’s elections.

In a two-horse race, the former vice chairman Mutai and Onsando will be chasing the position to replace outgoing chairman Oduor Gangla who will not be defending his position after four years in office.

At the vice chairman’s position Ombui Ratemo and incumbent Moses Ndale will face off for the position.

Sitting secretary Ian Mugambi will battle to retain the seat against Ray Olendo.

For the treasuer’s post, Joshua Aroni remains unp]opposed as goes for the third term.

The directors post has attracted a big number where incumbent Peris Mukoko, Oscar Mango, Leslie Mwangale, Ken Thimba and Moses Mukabane will battle for it.
