The Kenya Basketball Federation league champions Nairobi City Thunder recorded their maiden victory against Made By Basketball (MBB) at the ongoing Basketball Africa League (BAL) at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.
Coached by Brad Ibs, Thunder won 85-76 in a revenge mission after losing 75-74 in the first round.
Today, Albert Odero was the point man, inspiring Thunder to a historic win when he unleashed a record 25 points, nine rebounds and four assists in the 5th round of the BAL Nile Conference competition.
As the first Kenyan team to compete at BAL, compared to South Africans MBB who have two wins to Thunder’s one.
