Nancy Chelangat settled for silver medal in women’s 1500m T11 at the World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi, India.
The Kenyan queen crossed the finish line in a season’s best of 5:01.38 behind Peru’s Aldo Milagro who won gold at a season’s best of 4:59.93 as Poland’s Joanna Mazur-Dziedzic came third in 5:17.14 to win bronze.
Today morning, Team Kenya will be hoping to continue the medal with James Onyinka hoping to improve men’s javelin throw F57 final.
