Kenyan Legends maintained their dominance against their Ugandan Legends Counterparts to secure a third successful victories in a match played yesterday at the RFUEA Grounds, Nairobi.
Kenya recorded the biggest 51-18 victory to mark their 6th back to back victories where Ugandans came into the match to beat Kenya for the first time in six meetings, having narrowly lost the first leg 19-17 but that did not happen.
Wilson Kopondo scored first for the champions with Tito Oduk converting for 7-0 lead but a penalty handed the visitors 7-3 then Kenya’s converted try by Tony Owuor handed Kenya’s 14-3 lead.
Kenya’s top scorer Collins Injera extended with unconverted try to 19-3 into water break.
Michael Wokorach after resumption scored unconverted try for 19-08 before Injera doubled the try to 24-08 then Vincent Mose’s converted try by Mukidza added to 31-0 then Edwin Machanje try was converted by Mukidza for 39-8.
Uganda reduced the gap with a penalty and a successful converted try to 39-18 as Injera bagged a hattrick then Mose brace for a final 51-18 win.
