Agnes Mutindi Ngumbi and Patrick Muindi ran their personal bests at the ongoing world under 20 athletics championships at Kasarani stadium.
Ngumbi, who failed to proceed to the next round in 400m hurdles on Thursday, faced the same fate, failing to qualify into the semifinals in 100m hurdles after finishing last in heat one timing 15:72 seconds as her personal best.
The same fate accompanied Muindi in men’s 110m hurdles when he finished 8th in heat 2 with personal best of 15:27.
