Reigning world cross country champion Hellen Obiri won the 10,000m title as Kenya Defence Forces Track and field championships came to an end at Kasarani stadium.
Representing Laikipia Airbase, edged out reigning World Half marathon record holder Joyciline Jepkosgei, who won 5,000m on Tuesday to second as before Irene Kamais ended the podium.
After losing Prefontaine Classic, the 6th leg of IAAF Diamond League in USA, Obiri won in 31:43.0 ahead of Jepkosgei 31:43.8 and Kamais in 32:04.6 Pauline Korikwiang as fourth in 42:21.10.
