Double Olympic Games 5,000m silver medalist Hellen Onsando Obiri won the Manchester Great run held today.
Fresh from finishing second at the Bengaluru half marathon, the double world 5,000m champion won the race 30:15 beating home girl Eilish Mccolgan to second in 30:19 as reigning world marathon champion Ruth Chepng’etich completed the podium timing 30:29.
New Zealand’s Jake Robertson won the men’s title in 28:06 ahead of Australia’s Jack Rayner (28:16) and Antonio Abadaia (28:22).
