Elizabeth Ochaka, Velma Awuor and Lornah Faith scored for Kenya in today’s Under 17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers played at the Ulinzi Sports complex Nairobi.
The hosts Kenya won 3-0 over Ethiopia in the second-leg match to to close in on qualifying for the world cup where the Junior Starlets came into this second-leg encounter against Ethiopia following a barren draw.
Kenya broke the deadlock in the 44th minute when captain Elizabeth Ochaka scored for a 1-0 lead and Awuor doubled the score in the 53rd minute and Faith sealed the victory for the Junior Starlet who will face Burundi in the final qualifier.
