Angella Okutoyi has qualified to play in the quarterfinals of the ongoing W15 Nairobi World Tennis Tour.
The Kenyan top teenis player defeated Uzbekistan’s Sevil Yuldasheva 6-4 and 6-4 at the Karen Country Club in Nairobi.
The 18-year-old, who had an ace against Yuldasheva, 20, was strong with her serves, winning 80 percent of service games against her opponent’s 60 percent.
Her twin sister Roselida Asumwa will play sixth-seeded Sharmada Balu from India.
