Reigning Boston marathon champion Peres Jechirchir will be the chief guest at the Great Ethiopian Run 10km road race set for Sunday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The reigning Olympic Games marathon champion will be flagging off thousands of athletes in the race that was started by Ethiopian legend Haile Gebrselassie.
The former world half marathon record holder will be accompanied by two-time Boston Marathon champion Moses Tanui, who is the organizer of the Eldoret City Marathon.
