Olunga score as Al Duhail beat Al Sadd to book Amir Cup final against Al Gharafa

Harambee Stars Captain Michael Olunga was on target when his side Al Duhail beat defending champions Al Sadd to qualify for the Amir Cup final set for this Friday.

Yesterday, Olunga ended his dry scoring season with his goal in the 3-2 win against league champions Sadd during the semifinals played at the Jassim Bin Hamad stadium.

Ferjani sassi bagged a brace in the 20th and 80th minute and Olunga in 44th as the winners went into 2-1 up. Al Sadd’s Andre Ayew scored in the 33rd minute. On return, Baghdad Bounedjah’s goal in the 90th minute reduced the score.

Duhail will now face Al Gharafa at the final on March 18 after beating Al Wakrah 4-1 in the second semifinal match.
