August Most Valuable Player Michael Olunga scored his 17th goal as his side Kashiwa Reysol fell to Yokohama F Marinos in the Japanese top league.
The Harambee Stars striker scored a single goal as the hosts lost 3-1 after missing to score in the last two games .
The former Gor Mahia striker was on target first in the 40th minute after powering home a header from a corner kick but Yokohama leveled in the 77th minute through Erik Lima.
It was sad as Takuma Ominami scored an own goal to give visitors a 2-1 as Yokohama won the match through Daizen Maeda for a 1-3 win.
The defeat has seen Reysol drop to the eighth position in the 18-team league table with 30 points from 19 matches while the win enabled Yokohama to jump to position 13th with 20 points from the same number of matches ahead of their next match against Yokohama FC on Saturday.
