Africa 100m record holder Ferdinand Omurwa Omanyala and reigning Olympic Games 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce blasted into victory at the Kip Keino Classic, the World Athletics Continental gold Tour at the Kasarani stadium.
The national record holder, Omanyala set a world lead of 9.85 to win the men’s 100m race beating Olympic 100m silver medalist Fred Kerley to second in 9.92 as compatriot Isaiah Young, came third in a season best of 10.13.
The Jamaican sprinter won the 100m title by clocking a world lead of 10.67 ahead of Egyptian Bassant Hemida finished second in a personal best of 11.02 as American Shannon Ray came third in 11.33.
